I'm a big fan too! I've played and run campaigns of it, and I think it's a very compelling setting and system.
More-or-less the same way I've been soloing Stonetop -- I use the Ironsworn solo play flow (you can see it on Ironsworn's itch.io: https://shawn-tomkin.itch.io/ironsworn). I envision the characters situation and actions, and when a move is triggered, I trigger it. I think the key difference between Stonetop and Blades will be Blades' more formal downtime phases, so I'm just going to experiment with that and see how it's done. The ultimate goal is an entertaining story, so I'm really going to lean on the Fiction First principals when it comes to Downtimes, and focus on envisioning what the characters are actually doing between scores.
I created this question on Manifold's prediction market to guess the outcome of pilot season

I love Blades! I'm curious how you would be solo it?

Oh yeah, I'm very familiar with Ironsworn. It's a great system for solo. I gotta say I'm leaning towards this as my vote already...
Love it. LFGO!
This sounds great! Remember watching BitD AP from Rollplay. I love the setting, and I'm interested to see where your story takes it.
Thanks for reading! I'm excited to hear what you think.
An extremely pleasant surprise to see this pop up in my inbox. Really looking forward to see how you tackle those early scores, best of luck!
Is "Jessek" a nod to Baz Jesek from the Vorkosiverse?
It is! Good eye. I think it sounds like a surname that is competent and a bit crooked to my ear.
