PTFOOO: Summer Slowdown

This week turned out to be a little more frantic than I anticipated — some emergent work at my 9-5, plus my wife was out of town this weekend for an ultimate frisbee tournament, and that squeezed out all my writing time during the week and the weekend. Apologies for the delay, publication will resume as usual next week, August 5th.

In the meantime, while I have you — I’m considering where to go next for the Fall of 2024. My current intention is to call a season break for Proper Villains when the Jesseks are reunited or at some similarly conclusive moment. When that happens, I’m strongly considering returning to Stonetop after a brief summer break, but I could also potentially put it up for a reader vote and either continue this storyline, return to Stonetop, or make a foray into one of the other pilots from Pilot Season earlier this year — That Devil, Sam Crow is the one that excites me the most, personally. If you have any strong opinions about any of these directions, hold forth in the comments and let me know. I’m particularly interested in the opinions of folks who joined recently, during this run of Proper Villains and Blades in the Dark — would you follow us back to Stonetop? Would you take a break from reading PTFO until the Jesseks returned? Do tell!
