I voted for Anwen to take Dawa alive, partly from the 'get more information' angle and partly from the 'Anwen isn't much for killing someone from behind even if they're a known murderer' angle.
Agreed, but it's always good to check that perspective against her newfound responsibilities -- she knows a lot of people are relying on her now, so there's always the possibility she'll choose to compromise. Just not yet, it seems! :-)

This would have felt so fucking good at the table! I love when a really characterful build comes together, doubly so if it's not a blunt instrument, but something really adaptable like this.
I big agree here - " when the players look to the GM to see what happens, the GM makes a move." especially when considering The Fiction has set Pad up for this whallup. If he'd had something good coming to him on account of this fiction, it'd be reasonable to expect that, so the sword of destiny has two edges, right?
