Re: Permission, I wanted to put it on the table to see how much agency folks wanted to give Padrig over the life and death of his crew. I think it's much more interesting to keep them at risk, since so much of what's defined his character so far is protecting them, and now he needs to start thinking about a bigger picture (and more people he might be responsible for!)
I Really don't like Owain. That said I went with frontline leader for sure. Extra resources to make sure our boys stay in line and also to see how things shake out over all. There are essentially two militias in town now. Owain might not take lightly to this and cause real major issues.
Excited to see how things with Vahid shake out the most. Hoping we really didn't just drain the entire system. Which would be kind of funny honestly.
It would be kind of funny -- at the table, I can imagine everyone having some good chuckles about Vahid wasting the village's water, though if Vahid's player didn't really see the character as a bumbler, it could also be a bummer for him. If he were playing more of a roguish, foxy character, I think it'd be 100% fair game -- particularly since it matches what the villagers would already expect from him.
Alternately, it could've been a 'hard choice' -- sure, you can open this door, but it'll drain the cistern. Worth the risk? Vahid might've said 'yes,' especially given his assumption that there's another water supply deeper in the complex.
After Aled’s death I wanted to vote Permission, but I think narratively Front Line makes more sense.
Man, you are a fast reader! :)

Comes from having a seven-month-old baby. Grab the opportunity while you can!
Absolutely agree. It's the difference between making an interesting story and 'playing' defensively.

Whooooops, 29 winters, not 29 seasons. Fixed on the site, forever in error in your email. ;-)
